Golf Balls Save The Day

We all know golf is a great game and delivers such attributes to young players like sportsmanship, honesty and integrity - to name a few. But did you know golf balls had the ability to do things much greater than be hit long distances by men and women in colorful clothing? Golf Balls are going to save the day in the BP oil spill according to Admiral Thad Allen of the Coast Guard:

Admiral Thad Allen, the Coast Guard commander in charge of dealing with the crisis, said that the next move to stem the flow would be a ‘junk shot’. Speaking to CBS television’s Face The Nation, he said: “They’re going to take a bunch of debris - shredded up tires, golf balls and things like that - under very high pressure and shoot it into the [blowout] preventer.”

If I was Titleist or Calloway or Taylor-made - I would add this use to the box of a dozen golf balls. Its a great way to sell more product in the Gulf States or should I say Golf States.
