Mickey Bradley “Habitat” Pro-Am Set For November 10th on Mississippi’s “Golf Coast”
Mickey Bradley/PGA Tour Official and Jerry Kelly/PGA Tour Professional had a idea, “What if we had a Pro-Am and the proceeds would go to build home son the coast?” In 2005 the Mickey Bradley “Habitat For Humanity” Pro-Am was born. After 2 years it has built 6 homes for needy family’s and showcased some of the top golf professionals in the country from newcomers Anthony Kim and Bubba Watson to tour leaders Jerry Kelly and Woody Austin. Past winning teams included Steve Jones and “Long” John Daly, but the real winners were the supporting companies like 84 Lumber and the corporate and individual sponsors. Shell Landing - the championship layout designed by Davis Love III - will again host this event November 10th. While the focus is on building homes, Habitat is about building communities on the Gulf Coast so they will contribute tot he Gulf Coast Golf Foundation which “Helps Kids and The Community Through Golf.” For more information or to sign up on line click here or go to www.GulfCoastGolf.org.
